I work with my partner in our studio. I hadn’t really had much coming in because, to be honest, I was over the graphic design work I’d been doing.

I said to Matt half jokingly... “you know, all I really want to do is colour in using photoshop”. I love photoshop. It’s my happy place. $25,000 to colour in would be good. We both laughed.

Two weeks later Matt shouts to me. “Guess what?”. “I just got this brand new client. They found me through a client of a client. They want me to illustrate 100,s of little images as souvenirs for a program. If I illustrate do you want to colour them in photoshop”? He was smiling a huge smile by now.

Well “he’ll yeah” was my answer. I asked “how many are there?” “About $25,000 worth he said”.

Thank you universe. I had a fun few months happily colouring souvenirs from around the world. Best job ever. Well they get better and better but you know what I mean.
