I was lying on my bed watching testimonials of people having what we call miracle healings at a Dr Joe Dispenza workshop. (I believe they are our natural state.) One man who had been told he would never move his arm and neck again had experienced amazing feelings of love flowing through him in meditation. And by the end of the 5 day workshop he was climbing an obstacle course and moving his hand and arm.
As I was watching it my heart just burst open. I was crying tears of joy to hear and feel him as he shared his story.
After it finished I stood at my window just feeling that love as I looked out. My eyes landed on a tree opposite my house. It was winter, the branches were bare and there were two magpies sitting in it.
I thought to myself wouldn’t it be cool if those weren’t magpies but black cockatoos, a whole flock of them for me to see. Then I went out of the bedroom into the kitchen and I heard a black cockatoo call. Then another and another. I rushed outside and in the distance I saw lots of black dots coming across the sky. As I watched, about 20 black cockatoos landed in a tree next to the one I had been looking at. The sound of them calling as they arrived was beautiful.
My partner Matt ran out because he’d heard them. They have a distinct call and are quite rare to see. I just stood there tears of love and joy streaming down my face. Matt was smiling too.
After we’d watched them a while I thought in my mind, Wouldn’t it be cool if I could see them closer! Before I had finished that thought one bird took off. It flew right towards our house and directly over the top of us. It called out as it passed and I got goosebumps all over. Then one by one every other bird did the same. One by one they flew over us each one calling out as they left.
When they were gone we just looked at each other with tears and smiles. Our hearts were wide open.
