Hi, my name is Jaqueline Benndorf and I am a visual artist. Every year, around the time of my son’s anniversary I create a special piece of art, deeply connecting with him. It brings me a lot of joy. Early this year, I met Sarah Baron’s “Wellbeings” and absolutely fell in love with them. I immediately felt the deep heart connection to Sarah’s beautiful beings. I fell so in love with them that I wanted to use one to be part of an installation in the memory of my son. I approached Sarah asking if I may use the image of her “Wellbeing”. Sarah was so lovely, supportive, generous and enthusiastic and loved the idea of a collaborative process. I was and still am deeply grateful. Sarah sent me a file with a photo of one of her “Wellbeings” and I had it printed on material as I really wanted it to be a 3D figure. The piece that I created is possibly the most meaningful in terms of my connection with my son because it carries not only my love but also Sarah’s and the blessing of her “Wellbeing”.
